This is one of few games that made me take up my vive again. It's so much fun and really makes you wonder what the future of this game would be like.I'm glad I got it this cheap BUT I would love to pay more for it.Anyway I bought this game for my vr friends as well. Like I said. Too much fun.". No Tutorial - Confusing Controls. I'm not quite sure how to categorise this one. It has simple aspects of an escape room and a couple of bow and arrow shooting sections. The puzzles mostly consist of picking things up until your controller buzzes to tell you you've found something. There is a puzzle at the start which seems slightly unfair as you are surrounded by books and need an object which looks very much like just another book. The central gimmick is the time travelling but the house in the game feels so isolated that you don't really get any sense of time travel. It feel more like moving from one section of Ikea to another. If there were windows with some kind of view, or background sounds or something then it could have been made so much more interesting. Plus, the timelock sections just reinforce the idea that you aren't in a real place as you walk out of the room into some weird simulation space.Either way, the puzzles are fairly simple (with the exception of the initial one which is quite rude), some of the physics is pretty glitchy and the overall game is really short. Overall this probably deserves a "Maybe" recommendation, but given the number of better games available, I'm erring on the side of No, unless you are a particular fan of the genre and\/or you see it at a decent discount. Also, it's a minor point, but launching this game from in VR is awkward. It just appears to freeze up when actually a dialog has appeared on the desktop asking you what resolution to start up at and you need to jump to the desktop view in order to accept.. Annoyingly had two crashes and a glitch that has stopped me from completing the game just before the end (weapon got lost). And it appears that there is no way to save the game, or exit it, so you kinda need to do it all in one go. This is the second VR game that I have played (the other was FORM). I would recommend this game still. I think that the gameplay is probably 1.5 hours end-to-end. So given that you can't save do make sure you have the time to enjoy it. There are a couple of complaints that people have made it seems:1) Game doesn't work - It is annoying that it pops up a windowed item on your desktop before the game starts. This makes it look like it crashed in Steam VR. I needed to alt-tab to get the window up, select/confirm the resolution then the game started.2) Some say they are dumped into a dark room, have spent 30 minutes there and can't work out what to do. If you look at the controllers in the game, you will see that there are flashing buttons (arguably these aren't easy to miss if you know they are there, but if you don't them maybe people don't look at their hands?). These don't exactly match up with my controller, as I am in WMR and this is a game where the controllers are meant to be tools. The first button (for me on WMR) is the slightly raised 'burger' or menu button. 3) Being stuck somewhere in the game going back and forth and not getting anywhere - Some of the 'puzzles' require lateral thinking. It is part of the enjoyment of an 'escape' style game where you have to think differently. I was stuck in one area for about 15 minutes, but once you have worked it out, it is good. The majority of the game is decently rendered, pretty effects. There is no control over going through walls if you are walking, thus you can cheat in some aspects, try not to, it spoils the game for yourself.Definitely try not to watch any videos/walkthroughs, it would be easy to spoil the enjoyment.Replaying it now it took about 14 minutes to complete. So as it stands the game doesn't have a lot of replayability, but I guess that is normal for this style of game.. A bit misleading - this is actually a pretty straightforward 'room escape' type puzzle with a core gimmick of moving between parallel worlds (different times). There is no usage of the freeze time power. The archery mechanic is literally just Valves longbow tech demo, with only a few enemies total in the game (12+1 bigger-and-more-health 'boss', iirc), none of whom pose any actual threat (or maybe I've just played too much Longbow already). As a room escape puzzle, it's not terrible, but also not especially significant or clever relative to the many free experiences, which puts me in the too-common position of having to make a recommendation (becausue it's a 'totally fine' VR indie game) but qualify it as a 'not really'.The #1 top complaint I have about the game itself is PLEASE TURN OFF THE FLOOR GRID. IIRC this is a simple check-box in the floor script (in Unity editor) to have the grid only show when there is a teleporter cursor active on them, and it would enormously improve the overall look and feel of the game.. Pretty nice escape the room game. Secret of success is having one feature, that will help this game stand out of tons of others. And this one have to features - time travelling and action element. Fully interactive environment also can be named as feature of this game. That was really fun. Game is not very durable, but made me and my family spend a couple of hours resolving quests and just having fun. Will I recommend it? Definately YES!
